My Childhood Recreation

This is my childhood recreation. The reason I choose this picture is because my dad means a lot to me.  The chains I'm wearing in the first picture belong to him. Since I was  his little girl he would always let me play with his chains because he knew I for some reason found them amusing. The reason behind why I don't have his chains on instead I have mine is because my fathers on a trip and I don't know the where abouts of his stuff.

Portrait Series

They grow up so fast...
Artist Statement

This series is all about the two people i love the most. Even if we fight I know they will always be there. I love my siblings so much and i know they are aware of it even if I don't tell them everyday. These pictures remind me of how much they have changed over the years. I wouldn't change anything about them.

Artist Inspiration

Nigel Barker, BeachBoy
I choose Nigel’s work because he has a talent for capturing the moments that matter the most. I think his timing is perfect.

Carol Guzy, the Washington post
She is well known for capturing feelings instead of photos. She photographs people at the darkest moment of their life.
Gi Joe by Gabor Dvornik
A soldier in his attire ready for anything and everything. I like this picture because theres a kind of sadness in his eyes it kinda makes him look more human.
Dorothea Lange, Migrant Mother
Dorothea the great job at showing the public eye what was really going on during the Great Depression. She’s most famous for documenting migrant farms in Nipomo and the Imperial Valley for the California State Emergency Relief Administration.
